Jennifer Chaparro

Arvada, Colorado

Jennifer grew up in Southern California but didn’t start street painting until she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Her street paintings are either reproductions of masterpieces or large-scale original 3D works. Jennifer is the founder of the International Street Painting Society, has traveled internationally for her chalk art, teaches workshops and her works have won many awards. She has a BA from UCLA and received her Maestro Certification from Florida Chalk Artists Association in 2011. Murals have recently started to take up more of her time, and she won the Canvas West Palm Beach Local Showdown in 2016. When not creating street art, she worked as the Communications Director at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta, FL, but has recently moved to the Denver area. My favorite thing about Chalktoberfest is that it is one of the few events in the Southeast that brings in the best of the best street painters. I love the atmosphere around the square in Marietta, and the crowds are always so appreciative and welcoming. It is a well-organized event that I look forward to each year.
