When Sarah was 16, her high school art teacher encouraged her to participate in a local chalk festival with a group of friends, and that was the beginning. At Sarah’s third festival, a friend and she drew their first movie, Pirates of the Caribbean. People loved it and resulting in Sarah becoming hooked on street painting—especially portraits of movie characters—ever since. Sarah is really looking forward to meeting new artists and catching up with old friends at Chalktoberfest!
